Rebuilding a fashion storefront around search and checkout
A growing label whose catalogue had outgrown its theme — shoppers couldn't filter by what they actually cared about, and cart abandonment was high.
These are illustrative examples, not client work. They show the kind of problems we solve and how we report on them. We publish real case studies only for delivered projects, with figures the client has agreed we can share. Book a call and we'll walk you through comparable work directly.
The challenge
Nine hundred SKUs on a stock theme with no faceted search, so customers browsed page after page to find a colour and size in stock. Checkout ran to five steps and supported only card payments, so shoppers who preferred wallets or pay-later options dropped out.
Our solution
Moved to a headless storefront with faceted search across fabric, colour, size, and occasion, plus in-stock filtering. Cut checkout to two steps with cards, wallets, and pay-later options, added abandoned-cart email, and pre-generated product imagery in modern formats so category pages load quickly on slower mobile connections.
